Protagonist: Trevor mckinney
This book has many characters who represent different things. Trevor McKinney, in my opinion, represents giving. When he comes up with his idea to change the world, he not only got the idea but went through with it. Most people would just come up with the idea and not do anything with it. He is a very kind young man who really cares about helping people. Trevor is really wise beyond his years. He is a static character. From the beginning he didn't change at all.
I think that the antagonist is definitly society. It is the antagonist because that was the only flaw in Trevor's plan. His plan relied on honesty, which is usually not in human nature. The only thing that could have presented a problem was if people did not pay it forward. If they did not pay it forward then the whole plan would just stop in it's tracks. Trevor was trying to defeat society. Society is a round character because it changes constantly between this beginning and end of the book.
